An expert on the film festival circuit, Arwen covers festivals and can scout for the next big thing. Arwen plans to attend more than the top five global festivals and believes that some of the best talent is waiting to be discovered just under the radar.
WHO
Amanda Potts, Founder
Amanda is a seasoned content development, marketing and creative partnerships leader with a uniquely diverse and international experience in film and television. She believes that the power of storytelling can have a globally positive impact and thrives in a variety of pursuits, with an intuitive eye for talent.
Amanda was most recently a development and production consultant in Toronto at Alcina Pictures and Lumanity Productions, as well as a content analyst at Telefilm.
Prior to that, Amanda spent ten years in the entertainment business in Los Angeles, working at companies such as The Gersh Agency, Benderspink, and Paramount Vantage. She was a founding member and Director of International Marketing at film sales and finance company Sierra / Affinity (bought by eOne), and has consulted for companies such as Angle Films, a co-venture between Blumhouse Productions and Gold Circle Films, and SquareOne Entertainment GmbH (recently rebranded Vuelta).
Amanda took several years to explore other interests outside of Hollywood, working in sustainable marketing and brand consulting. While moving through several spiritually powerful life events that changed the course of her life, her passion for working with creators and artists reemerged and inspired the creation of Arwen.
Amanda is from Toronto, Canada and graduated from Queen’s University. She loves to dance and write.
